The Valley Speech Pathology is a mobile paediatric speech pathology clinic supporting children from birth to 8 years and their families across the Yarra Valley and surrounding areas.
Sessions are play-based and child-centred, and take place in your child’s natural environments, including at home, as well as in schools, kindergartens, and childcare settings. Telehealth sessions can also be offered to families.
The focus is on supporting each child’s communication by building on their individual strengths and interests, and working closely with families along the way.

Meet Dee
Hi, I’m Dee, a paediatric speech pathologist and the founder of The Valley Speech Pathology.
I completed a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University and have over 9 years’ experience working across the lifespan in health and community settings. I have supported both children and adults across private clinics, disability services, aged care, education settings, and telehealth.
My passion is early intervention and supporting children and their families with communication in the early years. I enjoy connecting through a play-based, child-centred approach. I have completed Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk and DIRFloortime training, which support my approach to working with children and families.
As a mum of two, I understand how time-consuming and challenging it can be to travel to multiple appointments. This is why I offer mobile services, providing therapy in homes and education settings where children feel most comfortable.
Outside of work, I enjoy going on outdoor adventures with my family, reading, and spending time with our Border Collie, Sadie.
I am a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Funding
The Valley Speech Pathology supports families using private funding, private health insurance, Medicare, and NDIS funding (self-managed and plan-managed).
Rebates may be available depending on your funding type.
